What is More Starlight To Your Heart?
Motto Kokoro Ni Hoshi No Kagayaki O, or More Starlight To Your Heart, is an 8 volume long manga from mangaka Hiro Matsuba. It was published in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade and ran from 2002 to 2005. It has 2 sequels, Zoku Kokoro ni Hoshi no Kagayaki o, and Shin Kokoro ni Hoshi no Kagayaki o, published in 2010 and 2011-2013 respectively. It also has a prequel, simply titled Kokoro ni Hoshi no Kagayaki O, which acts as a set up for "More Starlight".Set in the Heian period, "More Starlight" focuses on Akane, the daughter of a high ranking court official, who enters the imperial court as a servant in order to see her childhood friend Aogi, who has become part of the guard. Akane slowly matures and comes to terms with her feelings for Aogi as the series progresses.
The English translation for More Starlight was left unfinished! Translation by ADV Manga had started, though only the first two volumes were ever released in English before ADV went under and stopped publication. It has yet to be picked up by another English translation company.
